GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Cascade County is set to receive more emergency food and shelter funding. The United Way of Cascade County is set to distribute $25,823 to help boost non-profit funding this spring.

MISSOULA, Mont. - Montana Red Cross is seeking COVID-19 survivors to donate blood as the state faces a convalescent plasma shortage. Survivors may have antibodies in their plasma that could help patients currently battling the virus. 

LIVINGSTON, Mont. - Park County Office of Emergency Management, The American Red Cross, The County Help Department, and Community Members stepped up to help out their neighbors. 

KALISPELL, Mont.- A building in Kalispell went up in flames just before 10 Thursday evening. According to a press release from the Kalispell Fire Department there's significant damage and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The department rushed to respond to 927 3rd Street West. Firefighters noticed flames and smoke coming from windows near the street. They were forced to work from the outside to control the flames before moving inside once it was safe. They say everyone did make it out of the building and one person was treated at the scene for minor smoke related issues. 

Montana State University and the University of Montana are usually at each other's throats as part of one of the country's oldest rivalries, but they're setting aside their differences for a more friendly competition: a "blood battle" to see who can get the most blood donations for the American Red Cross.

BOZEMAN- An evacuation center is being opened by the Montana Red Cross for those displaced by the wildfire burning in the Bridger Foothills.
