Brian Kemp on Tuesday blasted Major League Baseball for its decision to move the 2021 All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver over a voting reform law the Georgia State Legislature passed. By moving to Denver’s Coors Field in Colorado, MLB was choosing a state that has more restrictive voting laws than Georgia’s new law, Kemp said.

(The Center Square) – Thirty-seven of 44 shelters, or 87 percent, currently housing unaccompanied migrant minors in Texas reported positive COVID-19 test results between March 5 and 23, according to data collected by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Cases are identified by shelter facilities and foster care providers, which are then reported to officials at the agency.

(The Center Square) – In addition to roughly 30,000 unaccompanied minors that have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border since the end of February, there are families who have also entered the U.S. illegally needing shelter. The Department of Homeland Security is entering into numerous contracts with local centers, such as the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center in Dallas, among others, and the latest is a San Antonio-based nonprofit, Endeavors.
