The 35th annual Billings Clinic Classic event kicks off Saturday on the corner of 3rd Avenue North and North 28th street in the Magic City.
KULR-8 spoke with classic volunteer, Heidi Duncan, who said this is their 23rd year they've had this major fundraising event on the street.
She said the fundraising event this year is for pediatric specialty care.
The classic event will consist of a street party, a sold-out concert in which Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Jewel will be performing. There will also be an after party.
"It's a wonderful fundraiser, but also a really nice party," Duncan said. "The work that it takes to transform this street into a magical venue, it never ceases to amaze me. Again, so many people come and make this happen and it's an event that people love to come to. We're sold out again this year, which is also exciting."
Duncan said a raffle will take place for this event. The raffle has already made over $43,000, the most the Billings Clinic Foundation has ever made. The event is expecting over 400 volunteers and 1,400 people attending.
