Skyview High School theater class hopes to dazzle audience with "Beauty and the Beast"

Skyview High School's theater class is hoping to dazzle its audience Thursday and Saturday with their last shows of "Beauty and the Beast."

Skyview theater teacher, Coul Hill, said the production of "Beauty and the Beast" is the most elaborate work they've done.

He said ticket sales have been light and attendance for the first show was not what they'd hoped for, but there are three more shows: 1 Thursday and 2 Saturday.

For the students performing, they said it's so much more than a stage play. It's ignited a passion for acting and provided a greater sense of community. Some said it's even helped them overcome their shyness and anxiety.

You can watch "Beauty and the Beast" at Skyview High School Thursday at 7:00 p.m. or Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. All seats are general admission for $5.00. You can purchase your tickets at Skyview's Activities Office.
