President of Northern Cheyenne Tribe resigns

The president of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe has resigned, according to a letter sent to tribe members.

This comes after a battle on the reservation over who is rightfully president. Council members held a hearing in October of 2017 and voted to dismiss President Jace Killsback. But Killsback contended a constitutional court order declared the council's vote to be illegal.
