Police asking for public's help in arson case at Skyview High School

UPDATE: Billings police are asking for the public's help regarding an act of arson at the Skyview High School tennis courts.

Police Lt. Neil Lawrence said the arson took place July 14th between the hours of 11 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Lawrence said is suspected two glass bottles were used to create two Molotov cocktails which were thrown onto the tennis court. The Billings Fire Department responded and put out the fire which caused damage to the tennis court mat and net.

Officers were told a dark colored SUV was seen leaving the area at the time of the fire. If you have any information regarding the crime, you are asked to call the Billings Police Department at 657-8460 or 657-8473.


(Original Story) - Just a little after midnight someone set fire to the tennis courts at Skyview High.

The fire caused only minor damage. You can see by the video there's just some holes on one of the courts. According to a media release from the Billings Fire Department, the estimated property damage is $1,000.
