Great Falls Junior League hat and glove drive

GREAT FALLS, Mont. - While you're out doing some Christmas shopping this holiday season, consider picking up an extra hat and pair of gloves.

The hat and gloves need to be new for sanitation reasons.

The Great Falls Junior League is collecting donations for men’s, women’s and children's winter hats and gloves.

Last year the Great Falls Junior League collected coat donations and received an outpouring of support; resulting in hundreds of donations for those in need.

This year, they’re hoping to get the same response and support but with gloves and hats.

"As the temperatures get colder, I think sometimes we might take for granted hats and gloves are just something we all have and there’s a lot of people in our community that aren’t as fortunate and might not be able to get those things," says Kristina Remsen, Great Falls Junior League community impact director.

The hat and glove drive runs through December 11th, after which the donations will be given to the Children’s Receiving Home, Cameron Family Center, YWCA Mercy Home and the Grace Home.

Donation locations can be found at the following places:

  • Klover- 505 1st Avenue North
  • Motifs for the home- 417 Central
  • Sora & Company- 114 Central
  • The Blue Rose- 419 Central
  • Tuffy’s Sunset inn- 48 Sun Prairie Rd
  • Gardner’s RV- 3928 Tri Hill Frontage Rd.
