Spirit of Giving 2018 is tomorrow December 7, and there are several locations around town where residents can donate food and toys for families this holiday season. Metra RV is another local business helping us out with the cause.
Although it's only Metra RV's second year with spirit of giving, owner Doug Becker says it's something he and his family have participated in for many years, always buying gifts for toys for tots on Black Friday.
"It's just something we like to get involved in, we think it's a great opportunity to get involved in the community, and to help other people get involved too," said Becker.
From 8am to 5 PM on Friday you can drop off any non-perishable foods or new toys at Metra RV. Metra RV is also helping the cause by donating some of their trailers for the day to help keep everyone involved warm and in the spirit of giving.
"Just a great way to drop off your goods you know whether it be Toys for Tots, the food bank, or the Montana Mission you know it's all great, and it goes to the right place and this time of year people need the help," Becker says.
Food for the Billings Food Bank, clothing for Montana Rescue Mission, and Toys, for Toys for Tots will be accepted all day in KULR-8's day-long event.
Spirit of Giving kicks off at Albertsons in the Heights from 6 AM until 9 AM. Then, we are at Laurel Ford from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Drop-offs will be accepted all day long at Metra RV, C & B Operations, and at KULR-8's studios.
Thank you for helping us, help others in our community.
