Montana Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash occurred just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon at the intersection of South 48th Street West and Neibauer Road in Billings.
The man killed in that crash is identified as David Borer, 63, of Billings. According to the Yellowstone County coroner's office, Borer died due to multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
According to Sgt. Kyle Hayter with MHP, a green Buick was headed southbound on S. 48th Street W. while a Ford Escape was heading westbound on Neibauer. The driver of the Buick reportedly failed to stop at the intersection while heading westbound and t-boned the other vehicle. According to Sgt. Hayter, this caused both vehicles to slide off the road and crash into a grain silo.
The driver of the Buick was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Ford Escape was sent to the hospital and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Sgt. Hayter says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
At this time, drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash.
