UPDATE: The woman found on Saturday has been identified as 59-year-old Jackie Sherbinow-Maestas. The cause of death is believed to be a combination of a medical condition and exposure. The Coroner's Office is awaiting a toxicology report to confirm the cause of death.
Sherbinow-Maestas was initially reported to be 60 years old, but Deputy Cliff Mahoney tells KULR-8 she was 59.
According to Sergeant Tony Jensen on Saturday, at approximately 3:59 PM Billings Police and AMR responded to a report of a body that had been located in the bottom of a drainage near Bowman Drive.
Due to suspicious circumstances observed by Officers at the scene, Detectives were asked to take over the investigation.
The deceased subject is a 60-year-old female and has been identified.
At this time, there is no suspicion of foul play pending the results of an autopsy. There is no belief of any danger to the community.
