The first of 5 Garth Brooks shows in Billings wrapped up today at MetraPark Auto Arena. Billings has country super stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood in town for a handful of concerts. There were so many people at MetraPark Auto Arena waiting in line.
One of the many fabulous people in line was Lorna Tucker. Lorna Tucker's granddaughter, Shae, needs a liver transplant and as soon as Tucker heard that Garth Brooks was coming to town, they got a hold of Garth to let him know about Shae's story. Garth Brooks gave Shae and her family backstage passes to do a meet and greet with him. Tucker explained how this makes her feel.
"It makes me feel like Garth is the guy that everybody says he is," said Tucker. "You know, by all accounts, I don't get star struck. I'm a people person. And by all accounts he's just a super wonderful human being and I think this just validates that."
Tucker said Shae and the rest of her family are excited to meet Garth Brooks in person and they were anxiously waiting in line. When the concert ended, people said it was an amazing show.
