Spencer Martin joined the KULR-8 team in fall 2018 as a multimedia journalist for his first professional job in broadcast journalism.
Spencer is from Vancouver, Washington. He attended Gonzaga University in Spokane and received bachelors degrees in broadcast journalism and sports management.
Before coming to KULR-8, Spencer worked as an intern with the sports department at KOIN-6 in Portland. He also worked with SWX live truck crews while in Spokane.
An avid sports fan, when Spencer isn't at work he is probably yelling at the TV watching the Portland Trail Blazers, Portland Timbers, or his Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Spencer is also a lover of music, and he sang in choirs while in high school and college. Some of his favorite music artists are Muse, Coldplay and Kanye West. He also enjoys hiking, working out and going to live sporting events.
