UPDATE 8:05 a.m.: According to a NorthWestern Energy representative, a downed line which could be weather related is causing the power outage. Crew have been working on the scene for at least a half hour and hope to restore power to anyone effected by 9:30 a.m. the latest. Anyone near a downed line should stay far away for safety and contact NorthWestern Energy to report issues.
GREAT FALLS, Mont. - According to Northwestern Energy's power outage map, hundreds of customers may be waking to without power Monday morning. Reports from viewers indicate this is happening near the south west part of town near Fox Farm Road. We've reached out to NorthWestern Energy to see what is causing the outages but have not heard back. We'll continue to provide updates.
