MONTANA - Congressman Matt Rosendale is dropping out of the Senate race, less than a week after he launched his campaign.
In a message to NonStop Local's Bradley Warren, Rosendale said he was hoping to gain momentum for his candidacy after his announcement, but unfortunately it went the other way.
Shortly thereafter, Rosendale shared a statement to his Twitter account, citing the fact that former president Donald Trump's endorsement of his opponent Tim Sheehy forced him to "calculate what my chances of success would be."
