Labor Council Hosts Labor Day Picnic
Union families in Yellowstone County will gather on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, for the 37th annual Labor Day picnic sponsored by the Greater Yellowstone Central Labor Council. Each year this picnic becomes more popular with union families; with more than 2000 attendees last year.
The picnic will be held in Rose Park by the pool house, at 21st and Avenue C, beginning at noon.
Festivities include live music by Jim Southworth and the Southbound Band; Big Sky Inflatables for kids; and of course, plenty of food and refreshments. We will again be serving hamburgers and hot dogs on buns provided by Franz Bakery, fried chicken from Albertsons, as well as, corn on the cob, salads, chips, and ice cream from Meadow Gold.
All union families and friends of Labor are invited to join in a fun filled day of Unity and Solidarity.
