As any Montanan, or anyone who as spent any considerable amount of time in Montana, knows the weather can be quite unpredictable. Montana has always reminded me of mountains, wildlife, and the easy-going spirit of everyone here, but it is most widely known for it's endless skies--Montana's signature. This July I was enjoying the incredible sunset and a slight breeze on my back porch when a evening thunderstorm started rolling in. The effect was spectacular! I couldn't believe how beautiful the sky turned and couldn't miss the opportunity to capture the sight with my camera. It was absolutely breath taking. So for me the spirit of Montana means home. It means family, friends, mountains, and yes, most definately, those ever beautiful, expansive skies!
