Clouds have been moving into the area ahead of the next storm system.  Showers will move across the mountains overnight into Saturday leaving 2-4 inches of high elevation snow. But the system doesn’t have a lot of moisture, and showers across the plains will be limited.  Temperatures will be cooler…mainly in the 40s….Saturday afternoon.  The system is moving quickly, drying things out for Saturday evening and Early Sunday.  Another wave brings scattered showers back into the forecast late Sunday.

Tonight...Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday...Mostly cloudy. Chance of rain and snow showers in the morning...then slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Cooler. Highs in the mid 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph in the morning increasing to west 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Saturday Night...Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 20s. West winds 15 to 25 mph.

Sunday...Partly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday Night...Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. Lows in the mid 20s. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Monday...Mostly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of snow in the morning. Highs in the lower 40s.
