Wind will settle down during the evening hours, and the weekend will settle into cooler temperatures than the last few days. Highs mainly in the 50s for Saturday with a few showers, especially in the mountains. Some wind will remain in the foothills Saturday, and this downsloping wind will help dry the plains out. Generally, these winds will be 15-25 mph, and not the strong gusts experienced on Thursday and Friday. Weak trough over the area Sunday will cool overall temperatures, but a weak ridge Monday will help afternoon reading rebound into the mid 50s to low 60s.
