The last of the area snow disappears through the evening, with a clearing sky taking over. Very chilly by early Saturday morning, and with the moisture left from Friday’s snow, areas of patchy fog could develop. A warmer, drier, more stable airmass quickly builds in during the day Saturday as temperatures quickly recover to 45-55 for afternoon highs. Conditions are right for stronger winds in the Upper Yellowstone and Stillwater River Valleys starting Saturday afternoon and evening. That will result in even warmer temperatures on Sunday. Most areas will see lows in the upper 20s and 30s and high temperatures around ten degrees warmer than Saturday. The ridge begins to break down later on Monday with scattered showers returning.
