Man assaulted while walking home in Bozeman

Bozeman Police are asking for information about an assault that happened Tuesday evening. 

According to a release from the police department, a Middle Eastern male was walking home in the area of 13th Avenue and Koch Street in Bozeman around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, when he was approached by four Caucasian men. 

Police say the men attacked the victim and attempted "to forcibly remove personal property from him."

The suspects took off on foot.

The victim described one of the suspects as a Caucasian male, approximately six feet tall, slender build with purple hair. 

The assault remains under investigation. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call Detective Detective Robert Vanuka at 406-582-2246,
