Bad air quality and high temperatures are on the horizon

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

Air quality is getting worse across the state due to wildfires and the triple-digit temperatures do not help.

Most of the state is labeled as having “moderate” air quality, but a few place are creeping into unhealthy areas.

The unhealthy areas affect young children, older adults and others with breathing problems the most. But extended time working outside can cause problems for those who would not typically consider themselves in that category.
