Box Truck catches fire just north of Ulm

A box truck caught fire along I-15 around 2:45 this afternoon, forcing the northbound lane to close.

Montana Highway Patrol, Ulm fire, and the Montana Air National Guard responded to the incident.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the truck overheated while driving northbound and when the driver pulled over, the box truck caught fire. 

The north bound lane of I-15 was shut down for approximately 15 minutes as crews worked to put out the flames.

No one was injured in the incident.

    Less than a month ago, 25-year-old Allen Roberts was arrested on 18 charges after crashing into a Pita Pit in Great Falls on 10th Ave. S.  What originally was supposed to take a week turned into several as store manager Christine Rattlingtail repaired severe damages and revamped the store.  Today, the Pita Pit is finally RE-opening their doors with a newly renovated interior.  Robert's arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th, at 2 pm.
