3-year-old Wolf Point boy struck and killed by pickup

Posted: Updated:

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A 3-year-old Wolf Point boy riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a pickup truck in northeastern Montana.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the boy entered the street from a driveway in the town of Poplar Tuesday afternoon and rode into the path of a pickup being driven by a 65-year-old man. The Great Falls Tribune reports the driver did not see the boy because a parked car blocked the view of the driveway.

The boy died at the scene. His name has not been released.

When applying for a job you typically have to answer if you have a felony conviction.  For those at Passages and Alpha House, they have to say yes.  But it's required all residents at the pre-release centers work 40 hours a week.  Once you enter the doors of Passages you become a resident of the facility just like a resident of an apartment complex.  You eat your meals, go to work, and pay rent. "Sometimes they just need some help to get back on the right step...

Sandfire Resources, the Australian-based company behind the Black Butte Copper Mine in White Sulphur Springs, is getting some heat tonight from proponents of Initiative 186. I-186 is a ballot initiative that would increase mining regulations, specifically with regards to water pollution.
