Golf Ball Sized Hail Hits Roundup

Posted: Updated:
ROUNDUP, Mont. -

Hail fell across Roundup Thursday evening, damaging dozens of vehicles and homes. When KULR-8 arrived, neighbors were out inspecting the damage to their property from the golf ball sized hail.

12-year-old Ian Reese said, "We were sitting on the porch looking at the clouds. All of a sudden it starts hailing and hailing. So, I go inside and get my tablet because I have a YouTube channel, so I started live streaming everything and all of a sudden windows are being broken and I'm like oh my goodness."

"It was crazy. It was hitting the roof so hard. I was like 'what is that rocks?!' But no, it started coming down, all of a sudden, like snow comes down. But hail, just pure hail. It was crazy," said Roundup neighbor, Delia Weaver.

Colton Davis said he was hoping his mother was okay during the storm. "I was afraid for my mom because we were out mowing the grass for someone and we left her there but luckily there was a shed out there and I was really scared for her and my dogs."

If you'd like to send your photos and videos of hail and flooding in your area, you can email them to KULR-8 or send them through Facebook.
