MSU Billings celebrated the 26th year of the Wine & Food Festival.

President CEO of the MSU Billings Foundation, Bill Kennedy, said Saturday night's turn out on the last day of the 2018 Wine & Food Festival was a success.

"Tonight, we had over 450 guests, Kennedy said. "We had sell-out cooking schools all week long. It's just been a great feeling and excitiement for Montana State University, Billings."

According to a press release, this event supports the university and its students by donating proceeds to fund scholarships. Attendee Jim Ronquillo said the Wine & Food Festival is always a good time.

"When I went to school, it was Eastern," Ronquillo stated. "And now, it's just a great event that they put on every year for the kids."

"It's a great event," Kennedy added. "It's the one thing that I see this event as. It's community support for Montana State University, Billings."

Bill Kennedy just made an announcement that will impact the future of MSU, Billings. Carl and Barbara Veland, currently residing in Fresno, California, donated 500 thousand dollars to go towards the new science building at MSU Billings, bringing a total of 4.2 million dollars raised for the Yellowstone Science and Allied Health Building.
