Fusion Fight League presents Bethany Dolinski with a check Fusion Fight League presents Bethany Dolinski with a check

For one family, nurses have become more than just caregivers and medical staff.

In honor of national nurses week, one mom is showing her appreciation for the medical team, who go above and beyond their expected duties.

Bethany Dolinski is all smiles as Fusion Fight League surprises her with a check just shy of $13,000.

The donation is to support Bethany's personal fight against a unrelenting opponent.

Bethany has an aggressive form of ovarian cancer, but she is vowing to keep on fighting and the staff at Billings Clinic is cheering her on.

"Every single person that has helped her, nurses, CNA's, the receptionist, the people that have brought her food up," said Mary Dolinskii, mother of Bethany

Dolinski. "Every single person has just been incredible."

Mary Dolinski said the staff at Billings Clinic have become more like family and friends.

"I mean it's very very personal, they come to know us and our family," adds Dolinski. "One night, two of the PA's came in and played games with Bethany so that allowed her dad and I to have a little dinner."

While the journey to recovery isn't easy, Dolinski said the support is overwhelming.

"You know this has just been an awful thing to go through but they just have made it bearable, and we have just come to know them very well," said Dolinski

While this check may just be a drop in the bucket in this ongoing battle... every dollar helps.
