Things didn't look great for the Billings Royals early on Saturday. In game one of a double header with the Butte Miners, the Royals found themselves in a 7-0 hole midway through the second inning. But Billings responded with 10 runs in the bottom of the second and third combined, as they found a way to outslug the Miners for an 18-16 win. Bradley Zimmer led the way for the win going 3-3 with 4 RBI, including a three run home run in the fourth.
In game two, the pitching settled down for the Blue Bombers. Zimmer started and threw six innings, giving up only three hits, two earned runs, while striking out 11 as the Royals completed the sweep with the 10-2 win. Jarrett Leinwand was the key hitter in game two, going 4-4 with 4 RBI.
