BILLINGS, Mont. -

The Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners will be meeting Tuesday at the Yellowstone County Courthouse.

One of the items on the agenda will be the agreement between the city and county for a shared 9-1-1 center, as well as GSI data and services. The agenda states 'in exchange for services, the city would agree to pay the county $35,000 per year.'

Another topic on the agenda is a request for the purchase of 200 new mattresses for the detention facility expansion, costing close to $22,000.

County Commission will also discuss an agreement between the county and city regarding the cost-sharing of a mass notification software system that can notify the public in case of an emergency. According to the agenda, the city would agree to paying two thirds of the cost, or 20 thousand dollars, (whichever option is less) each year for five years.

The meeting is expected to begin at 9:30 a-m.
