YOUR HEALTH: CDC says flu has reached its peak

The Center for Disease Control says flu season has peaked.

The CDC released its weekly numbers on influenza activity across the US Friday. Thirty-two states reported high levels of flu activity for the week ending February 24. But nine states reported low or minimal flu-like illness for that same week

The total number of children who have died due to influenza since October is 114.

    Storms this week are dumping rain across Montana and bringing the state closer to the end of a fire season that's been much smaller and much less expensive than 2017's record-setting year.    Fires this year have burned 143 square miles acres across Montana, which is about 7 percent of the record 2,134 square miles that burned in 2017.
