Thursday, February 1, 2018 could prove to be a big night for Montana State's Hannah Caudill. The senior point guard is just two assists away from breaking the school's all-time record. Caudill's 442 assists is just one shy of Vicki Heebner-Carle's mark of 443. Caudill is averaging 4.5 assists per game this season, and leads the Big Sky Conference with 6 per game in conference play. She will have the chance to break the record Thursday night when the Cats host North Dakota at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Ahead of the game, both Caudill and Bobcat Head Coach Tricia Binford spoke about her career and what the record will mean.

"I've been really fortunate enough to play with awesome players all four years that have allowed me to do that," said Caudill. "You can't get an assist without someone making a basket. So, I don't know, it's really cool and I'm excited if I get to do it."

"She's always been an incredible passer," Binford said. "Now, has she grown and gotten better? I think she's gotten better in a lot of ways, especially off the bounce with her passing ability. She's been more aggressive there, finding ways. But it's just been fun to see the growth of her and it's going to be a well deserved honor."
