Flooding alert issued for areas near Custer

CUSTER, Mont. -

An alert for those living in low lying areas near Custer.

Yellowstone County has issued an alert about flooding of low lying areas around the Big Horn River southeast of Custer.

If you live or have livestock in that area the county reports you may need to take precautions.

You're also asked to be careful if you come across flooding while traveling.

The county states there are no known impacts to roadways at this time.

If you see a roadway flooded you're asked to call the Yellowstone County Department of Emergency Services at 406-256-2776.
