Local businesses prepare for "Small Business Saturday"

'Tis the season for shopping. Shopping at the big department stores is great, but don't forget about the little people.

Tomorrow is "Small Business Saturday."

You can find a lot of things you can't find anywhere else.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving has gotten the nickname of "Small Business Saturday."

It's a day to increase awareness and value of locally owned businesses. We spoke with some of the small business owners and they're excited to get support from the community.

"We're just a small specialty retail store and we appreciate everyone's business and everyone that comes to shop with us for "Small Business Saturday." It's a big deal and it makes a big difference for our community and our store," Hilary Mitchell, Basecamp Assistant Manager said.

"Some are still already coming today. Which is great too and is still shopping small, but tomorrow is so amazing that it's such a huge holiday and it's such a great campaign to shop small shop local both days going to be really busy because growing area," Katie Cline-Ellis, Bottega Owner said.

Statements from our Senators, Steve Daines and Jon Tester they encourage to shop at local businesses this holiday season. By doing so, you're pumping money back into the community.
