A second person enters a plea in a homicide from 2015.

37-year-old Ross Breshears entered a not guilty plea to deliberate homicide in Yellowstone County District Court on Tuesday.

On October 16, 2015 around 2:00a.m., Billings police responded to the outside of an apartment building on 6th Avenue North for a shooting.

Court documents state Breshears and several other people went to an apartment to rob someone of methamphetamine and cash.

The documents go on to state a witness saw Breshears and another person get out of a car and then heard a gunshot.

Clinton Oldbull was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The other person, Garrett Crandell, was charged with deliberate homicide with weapons enhancement earlier this year.

According to the court documents for Crandell, he and Oldbull may have gotten into a fight and that's when Oldbull was shot.

Documents say Crandell told police Breshears pulled the trigger.
