UPDATE: Wyoming's Congressional race, Cody's mayoral race, ballot issues

CODY, Wyo. -

In the race for Wyoming's U.S. Representative, Republican Liz Cheney wins with 67-percent of the vote. Coming in with 23-percent was Democrat Ryan Greene.

In the non-partisan mayoral race in Cody between Charles Cloud and Matt Hall, taking on the role as mayor is Hall, who won by 12-percent.

Also in the hands of Wyoming voters was Constitutional Amendment A. 56-percent agree with the using additional state funds for the stock market and 43-percent disagree.

Also on the ballot, renewal of the 4-percent Lodging Tax. Voters are for the County Lodging Tax. 81-percent say yes.

In Park County's 1-percent Excise Tax Proposition, winning by 11-percent, voters say yes to the specific use tax.


Just a quick rundown on the races I'm following in Wyoming, which are Cody's mayoral and at-large Congressional races.

Also in the hands of Wyoming voters is Constitutional Amendment A. Voters will determine whether or not legislators will invest additional state funds in the stock market.

In the race for retiring Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis' seat, Republican Liz Cheney has the name recognition, thanks to her father Dick Cheney, who served as Vice President under George W. Bush.

Ryan Greene is the Democratic challenger.

Also on the ticket are Libertarian Lawrence Struempf and Constitution Party candidate Daniel Cummings. 

In the non-partisan mayoral race in Cody are candidates are Charles Cloud and Matt Hall.

Wyoming polls close at 7 p.m.
