Number 8: The Sentinel Spartans knew they'd have a tough challenge in the first round of the Class AA playoffs against #2 seed Glacier, as the Spartans get a blocked punt, but it's the Wolfpack that advances to the semifinals.

Number 7: Sunburst quarterback Lane Lerum finds Treyton Pickering, who is grabbed by the ankles by a Bridger defender, but breaks free and strolls into the endzone.

Number 6: Griz backup quarterback Chad Chalich filled in for injured Brady Gustafson, and threw a school record seven touchdowns, including a toe tapping score by Justin Calhoun in the Griz's 62-44 win over Idaho State.

Number 5: In the Eastern A Divisional volleyball championship between Billings Central and Belgrade, Olivia Moten-Schell digs it out, then Laura Sterup and Hailey Keller get it over the net before Keller blocks the Panthers for a point, but it's Belgrade who takes the match.

Number 4: Hardin squaring off with Belgrade in the early rounds of the Eastern A, as Katie Murdock dives for the dig and gets the one handed, no look ball over the net for a Bulldogs point.

Number 3: Senior hosting Big Sky in round one of the Class AA playoffs, as Nathan Dick runs all around the field, breaking Eagles tackles before finally finishing the 22 yard score for the Broncs.

Number 2: Bridger's Ryan Zenter made a pair of spectacular catches over the defender for touchdowns in the Scouts win over Sunburst.

Number 1: The Bridger Scouts fake the bad snap, but Colter Zenter runs around to give his brother Colby time as he finds him for a touchdown.

    Whitworth is coming off a 10-15 record in 2017-18.  Griffith takes over for Higgs, who won 361 games in 24 years leading the Pirates and ranked 48th in total victories among active Division III coaches at the time of her retirement.
