Posted: Updated:

We have new information on the story about the theft of mail out of mailboxes in Billings that we told you about in October.

Billings Police Lieutenant Neil Lawrence says they've been going through reports filed at the police department and at the crime prevention office.

Lt. Lawrence says out of nine reported mail thefts, there were three reports of a mail-in ballot being stolen.

A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those who stole mail from homeowners in the Augusta Ranch subdivision.

On Friday, October 21st we told you Billings Police had received about 10 reported mail thefts.

If you have any information about these thefts you are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 406-245-6660.

If you haven't sent in your mail-in ballot for this year's election it is recommended that you hand deliver your ballot.
