Election Coverage: Taking a look at local races

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

On air, and online, and through social media, we will keep you up to date throughout the evening on races that matter to you. We'll have results from national and state races as well as results from the local races that impact your community.

From County Commission, to State Senate, and Representative races. We'll also be keeping an eye on the Mayoral race in Cody. And District Judge races.

Going in-depth, there are also multiple ballot issues on the ballot for many communities in our area.

On the ballot, four places in our area are looking to possibly make a change in government. Those places are: Miles City,  White Sulpher Springs, Hardin and Musselshell County.

On the ballot in Miles City, voters are being asked to keep their existing form of government or become a Charter form of government.

White Sulphur Springs currently governs with Wards, but voters there are asked to keep that or transition to an At Large government.

Musselshell County voters will decide if their County Commissioners will keep their party affiliation when running for office. Or run as a non-partisan candidate.

Turning to Hardin, they currently have a Mayoral form of government but voters will decide to keep that or switch to an Administrative form of government.
