BILLINGS, Mont. -

It's that time of year again for a good laugh. One of the biggest comedy festivals is taking over Billings this week.

Today starts the 5th Annual Big Sky Comedy Festival. It's 28 comedians, ten shows and five nights. Industry people and audiences will judge which comedian they liked, then, Saturday night, eight comedians compete for the grand prize. Big Sky Comedy Festival Organizer Lukas Seely says they're continuing to bring in big name comedians.

"About four people who've done sets on Conan, we've had over six that's done Comedy Central already, The Tonight Show, we have a special guest Ty Barnett who was runner up on Last Comic Standing, has [his] own Comedy Central special who's been on Tonight Show four.. five times, he's going to drop in and do a set. We have the past winners from the last 3-years coming to perform a set as well," Seely said.

The festival starts today at the High Horse Saloon in Billings, and goes until Saturday, the 15th, where the show ends at the Babcock Theater.

Shows start at 8 p.m., and the late shows are at 10. You can also purchase a VIP Pass that covers all performances for $45.
