Posted: Updated:

The #25 Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears hosted #9 Southern Oregon on their homecoming game in a 35-34 loss to the Raiders. The Bears started the game with back to back interceptions of SOU quarterback Jack Singler, and went to the half with a 20-14 lead. Rocky added a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter to open up a 20 point lead of 34-14 after three, but in the fourth the explosive Southern Oregon offense scored 21 unanswered points to steal the Frontier Conference game away from Rocky. The Battlin' Bears will return home this Saturday when they host Montana State Northern at 1 p.m.
