CUSTER, Mont. -

Yellowstone County Deputy Coroner, Cliff Mahoney, releases the name of the man who died in a crash near Custer this past weekend.

Mahoney says he is 51-year-old Anthony E. Sperle of Hysham.

Montana Highway Patrol says Sperle lost control of his vehicle Sunday morning on Custer Frontage Road, between Custer and Highway 47. MHP troopers say he was traveling eastbound when he over-corrected.

The vehicle rolled several times, went through a fence and then landed in a ditch. He was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Troopers say alcohol and speed are not factors.
