BILLINGS, Mont. -

The SpaceX Dragon launched successfully Friday carrying the Rocky Mountain College Algae Growth and Remediation project.

The Dragon capsule is scheduled to arrive at the International Space Station at about 4 p.m. Sunday.  "This has been three years in the making. One year at Central High School and two years at Rocky Mountain College.  It's just fantastic to actually know that we have an experiment in space right now," said Rocky Mountain College Associate Professor Dr. Andy Wildenberg.   The unmanned Falcon rocket made a successful launch carrying more than 7,000 pounds of supplies and scientific gear which it will deliver to the ISS upon the planned arrival Sunday.  The students will begin to see images download from space within four to five days.
