The man charged with stabbing Billings philanthropist and photographer, Michael Sample, to death was sentenced today.
23-year-old Zachariah Wiseman was sentenced to 60 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 20 years.
In June, police responded to a report of a stabbing, and found two men holding wiseman on the ground.
Court documents indicate a knife was next to them.
Sample had multiple stab wounds and later died from his injuries in the hospital.
The court documents also say wiseman told officers he was asking Sample if he could work for money.
He told officers he remembers sample was inappropriate and then says he blacked out, later saying, Sample must have fallen on the knife.
