  counselor Jamie Anesi said to me as she walked me through a mindfulness exercise.

In the trauma field it's been shown that it's possible to create new pathways in the brain.  One way to do this is to create a bilateral stimulation,  simply meaning a right/left sensation stimulation while focusing on something positive.  Jamie Anesi, walks us through a simple movement of gratitude.
