Disruption at Fuddruckers

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

UPDATE: According Lt. Mark Cady, the police reports show a group of men went to the West End Fuddrucker's a little after 7 PM on Wednesday, and ordered food. Police learned the men started hitting on a juvenile woman who worked there. She told the manager she felt uncomfortable about the incident and the manager asked the men to sit down and wait for their food. The men then started calling the manager a racist, and the manager began to process a refund for these men. Police say the men then started throwing beer bottles at the manager. It's estimated they caused about $700 worth of damages. Witnesses told police they left and got into a black SUV with California plates. The police learned the men causing trouble were associated with the artist, Jeremih. Officers then went to the Shrine, where Jeremih was having a concert, but the suspects were no longer there.

Billboard Music Award Nominated Jeremih stopped in Billings last night, but his music is not what left a lasting impression.

According to many witnesses, Jeremih and his entourage, came into Fuddruckers on the West End a little after 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 5th.

The large group blocked other customers from being served.  A manager at the restaurant asked the group to step aside so other customers could be served.

According to Alexandria Ellingson, an employee at Fuddruckers, the group didn't like being told to step aside, so they refused.

After an exchange of words, the group shattered an order menu and began throwing bottles at the employees, covering two of the managers in beer.

Witnesses tell us they called the Billings Police Department, but officers didn't show up for more than two hours because there were none available at the time of the call.

Investigation into the case is ongoing.
