BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - An Oct. 29 trial date has been set in the case of a 23-year-old man charged with stabbing a well-known photographer to death in downtown Billings.
Zachariah James Wiseman is charged with deliberate homicide in the June 19 death of 66-year-old Michael Sample.
Charging documents allege Wiseman was under the influence of a drug when Sample was stabbed three times.
Wiseman pleaded not guilty last week. He remains jailed with his bail set at $500,000.
