Montana Brews and BBQs Attracts Thousands

BILLINGS - Saturday marked the 4th annual Montana Brews and BBQs at MetraPark.

The event started at 1 p.m. – with free admission – and lasted until 11 p.m. Over 70 Montana-brewed beers were on tap and nearly 40 varieties of food were provided. Proceeds from ticket sales benefited the Family Tree Center and their fight against child abuse.

"We have brewers from throughout the state, so you don't have to travel the whole state to try to taste these beers,” said promoter Mark Hedin. ”You can come down to MetraPark around the pond and taste a wide variety, and they're right here in our backyard."

Organizers said they wanted to remind everyone to drink responsibly. Taxi services were provided during the event.
