BRIDGER -

The Carbon County Sheriff's Office releases the name of the 52-year-old woman who drowned Tuesday night.

Lt. Josh McQuillan says Mary Sanders is from Bridger. He says her body was found at 7:30 pm, about three miles from where she fell in. Officers report sanders fell in the Clark's Fork River at a fishing access south of Bridger.

In an interview with witnesses, authorities learned Sanders was sitting on the edge of the bank. They say when she started to stand up, she slipped and fell in.
