KHQ.COM - The summers in eastern Washington can be very hot, so hot that you don't want to go outside!

We found on the internet that one clever man has created a homemade air conditioner for about $8.

He calls himself "desertsun02" on YouTube and he's made a video about his homemade air conditioner that's gone viral on the web.

You just need an ice chest, some pvc pipe, a small fan and some ice.

The video above shows how you can put it all together to create your very own homemade air conditioner.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The doors to The Salvation Army's annual Backpacks for Kids Distribution and Resource Fair opened at 9am on Thursday, and by 10am, they had already handed out 838 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in Spokane County.
