Ruts in Roads Could Lead to Costly Car Repairs

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

With no immediate fix in the works, residents of the Magic City who live and drive along roads riddled with ruts have to be very careful to not damage their vehicles.

Jared McDermott, General Manager with L.P. Anderson Tire Co., says drivers need to be very cautious when traveling all roads, but especially roads known to have potholes.

McDermott says a driver could face over $1,000 in damage if a wheel is damaged and new tires are bought.

Both city and county road departments are aware of the terrible road conditions and are working on a plan to fix the problem.
