Former SD2 Administrator Pleads Guilty

A former School District Two administrator accused of stealing technology from school changes her plea in court Friday.

Dulce Whitford pleaded guilty to theft and three counts of unsworn falsification to authorities. The other three counts of unsworn falsification to authorities were dismissed as a part of a plea agreement.

Whitford was the Director of Indian Education for All and is accused of taking electronics, including a chrome book, and selling the items at a pawnshop. Whitford supervised the Indian education programs and activities throughout the school district.

She made more than $94,000 a year. She started working with SD2 in 2009. Sentencing is set for July 18.
