Special Olympics Montana Kicks Off

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS - Volunteers! Volunteers! Volunteers.  With over 1,000 athletes, Roz Winchell, Co-Chairman of Special Events for Special Olympics Montana, says the festivities are fantastic, but more volunteers are needed.

Katie Bumgarner is a SkyView High School Senior. She's volunteering with her show choir by sponsoring a team out of Havre and cheering them on during the games.  She says it's fantastic to watch these athletes compete.

To learn how you can volunteer, go to www.somt.org and click on the blue volunteer button in the top right corner.

Events will go on from May 13th-16th.
